Well, it's not really a restoration. For quite sometime Jeff's wanted to re-do and organize his office. We knew we would once we were married. It was a mess, and I'm and organizing fiend. So we talked about various options that we would do when it came to the office. We also discussed flooring options for part of the house. So after coming to a conclusion on the flooring...or so we thought...it may change....Jeff really was ready to start this project...not later now. It makes sense actually. One-it really needed it. Two-August and September is his super busy months. October will be moving a lot of my stuff in, and final wedding stuff. So now seems like the best time for us to do it. This was all decided at about 6:00 pm yesterday. We begin to move the stuff out and into the living room. Boy, was that a lot of stuff. Then we went to Lowes to buy paint. We planned on going downtown to watch fireworks, but between the rain, and the anxiousness to get started be skipped that, and begin our project. Well, we spackled and sanded last night. Then got up this morning to paint. We finished at about 3:00 today with our painting scars, which was mostly paint (my hair got a good amount), and of course I have a lovely bump on my head from hitting the table that was too big to move out of the room. I can't wait to see the completed look of...OUR office. (how cool is that?...our!)
So I loaded up my stuff in Jeff's truck (which I need for hauling something back in) and came back to CF for about a day. I'm excited that I get to go to LRBC tomorrow. I miss my church family when I don't see them. I miss our good times, fellowship, and worship. I know another thing I miss....Jeff. Ugh...I used to SO think it was pathetic when couples complained about being apart for a little bit...a day big deal...suck it up. Truthfully, it's not like we can't survive without each other, neither of us like being apart, but life is sure more fun when we're together. One thing is for certain I sure do love Jeff!
