Good news!

Well, after about a month of biting our nails we got official approval for a loan. We've been trying so hard not to get too excited about the new house, just in case something fell through. It looks like we're going to be okay. Although we've tried not to think about it too hard or plan too much, we have. I've had wall colors picked out since we signed the contract, I've arranged all the furniture, and started thinking about a backyard garden. Jeff's had his mind firmly planted on the lawn, and thinking of building a storage shed. Now the work will transfer from our brains to actual work. We haven't begun packing--just in case, but now we have boxes waiting to be filled. We not only have to move, and get that house ready for us to do so (painted and carpet cleaned), but we also have to fix up this one to put on the rental market. So our days are going to be full. We'll let you know the progress of everything. Plus, I'm guessing you'll see a few pictures too. Yay--we're officially excited!
