Groundbreaking and other news

Well, first of all the house stuff seems to be going alright. The closing is set for the end of April. We'll have plenty to do with all of that. Not only will we be moving, but we'll be getting our house now set for being rented. So Banyan will get some fresh paint in spots (hasn't been that long since it's been painted), new carpet, and other common touch-ups.

This past weekend we went to CF. We got to visit mom and dad, which is always fun. We dropped off April and Austin's wedding album. We also got a chance to circle through the area that was to be The Sanctuary at Lake Russell. Sadly the land developers pulled out, and I can't believe how many lots have SOLD on them. What happens to those lots? Anyway, the big event of the weekend was the groundbreaking at my home church, Lake Russell Baptist. I can't express what all those folks mean to me, and I'm so excited to see how God is blessing them! Here's a few of the pictures from the day:

Tomorrow we leave to begin our journey to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Jeff had a surgery there about a year and a half ago, and they just want to give him a look-over, and see how he's doing. Basically just a routine sort of thing, but just at a world renown hospital far away. So we're flying from Atlanta Wednesday to arrive back Friday, then we'll be home Saturday.

Busy week, followed by more busy weeks ahead.

We are praying for a safe trip and great reports from the MD's for Jeff. April's album is so wonderful. The best I've ever seen. I think I might order one. Will call you next week about pics. Let us know how the trip turns out. We love ya'll.
