Update on various things

The move: Well, we are excited. Jeff has gotten pack happy. He actually discovered yesterday that he'd packed some of his work stuff that he needed, so we had to unpack a little. We don't exactly know when we'll move in. We're going to start painting Friday, and we want to finish that before we have carpet cleaners come in, and we can't start moving stuff until after that. So I'm thinking perhaps move in...not everything, but get a good start next weekend. I've been fantasizing about colors, while Jeff has been concentrating on the lawn. He bought a new lawn mower today because his wimpy one he has now won't take the amount of yard he'll have to cut in the back. The front of course is going to get the best with his reel push mower. Anyway, we are anxious to start putting our mark on it.

The diabetes: That's getting more and more under control. Tomorrow we actually have a meeting with a dietician to help us sort of of the food stuff out. Jeff is a special case, being gluten-free, and processing food so fast, the typical diabetic diet is going to have to be tweaked a bit.

My dad: The biopsy went fine. The test results come back on Thursday. I'll keep you posted.

The next few days: Well, tomorrow-dietician, Jeff and his dad are going to Atlanta to pick up part of the desk from Mike and Liz. It just so happens they are getting rid of a desk that will be perfect for us. Nice how that works out. I'm staying home to (hopefully) work on the pictures I took to Morgan and Campbell Grace this past Saturday, and see what I'm not going to use in the kitchen before the move, and pack that up.
Thursday is another walk through before closing, closing, and then meeting the painter for an estimate. Hopefully I'll remember to take a camera so I can get some good shots of before we get in.
Friday is beginning our work...painting for the most part, which will continue onto Saturday and a good chunk of next week. Saturday too I'm going to CF to take prom pictures. Full days ahead!
