One Year

Yesterday was our first anniversary.
First, I must say, I love Jeff so incredibly much! I feel blessed everyday that I'm his wife. It's been a good year.

Now as for the anniversary. We had originally planned to go somewhere for a weekend trip. We thought maybe Savannah or Charleston. In the midst of our thinking and slight planning, Jeff's mom offered time share points to somewhere. Everywhere we chose was booked. In fact, the closest thing to being open was Pigeon Forge in a couple of weeks. So we'll have our trip a little outside of the anniversary weekend, but still we can't wait. We still wanted to do something for the day. A couple of weeks ago I got an email about an Ansel Adams exhibit at the Columbia Art Museum. Ah-ha. We are both photography nuts, and icing on the cake the museum is free on Sundays. Then my friend Christen, who happens to live in Columbia, wanted to set up a time for pictures of her kids. So we figured, why not, we'll be down there. So we met Christen, Hunter, and Faith downtown and did a few pictures to start the day. That was fun! Then we headed to the museum, and got to see some great art. We were getting hungry so we were going to find something on the way out of Columbia, but missed the exit. We ended up eating at Zaxby's. Yep, that's right anniversary dinner at Zaxby's....but hey, we had their chicken strips at our reception last year, so full circle. Then we stopped in Newberry to visit my cousin, Spurgeon and his wife, Danielle. We had a good time talking with them. All in all a busy day, not how we originally planned, but still good.
