Family

Well, we headed to Alabama for the funeral early Friday morning. I was actually up at 3:30. We drove to Mike's-Jeff's brother-in Alpharetta. We got there about 8, and were greeted by Mike, Liz, and Daniel (who unfortunately I didn't get to play cars with). Mike, Jeff, and I then drove to Tuscaloosa. Of course I would have rather met everyone under different circumstances, but everyone was so nice. Jeff's aunts (Betty, Jan, and Sue) are terrific, and so are his cousins. From the service I learned his grandmother was a great lady too. The minister told me I was very blessed to be getting a family like these folks....and I couldn't agree more.
