Trying to do nothing.

I thought maybe this week we could take it easy...ha ha. Seems like we haven't had a day to do nothing since before we moved. Between packing, painting, moving, unpacking, straightening, yard-working, and fixing up the other house we've not really rested. We started the side yard area last week really. We got the arbor up, got some edging pavers around the edge last week. This week we laid the path edging, then filled it in with pea gravel. We begin planting Tuesday. We dug a partial hole for a tree on the side...discovered very hard red clay. So we filled it with water....the water had not drained as of today. We got some more digging there to do, hopefully later today. There are a couple more pot to plant out there. Possibly change the arrangement of a couple of things. Today has finally been fairly low-key. A trip to the mall to get another pair of black sandals. The ones I've been wearing all summer has very thin soles. Jeff got a post hole digger to help with the difficult hole. Tomorrow Jeff has a little procedure that he will have to be anesthetized for, so that's going to take a fairly big part of the day. We have someone signing a lease on our old house tomorrow....YAY! That means some of the stuff that was left over to merchandise will finally get to come over here and fill a couple of empty spaces. Saturday we will be going to CF. VBS at LRBC (lots of abbreviations for you) is next week, and I'm helping. I'm excited to get to serve...seems like it's been a long time, but there's also a bit of a pain of driving everyday. It'll be well worth it though! Okay, now I'm going to read a bit...I hope.
