Yard of the month

Okay, so if you know Jeff you know that he is very grass oriented...grass as in bermuda, not the illegal kind ;)...with that comes being very interested in the overall appearance of the yard. If you saw this blog recently you know we've done some extensive yard work. We pulled up the entire front, and replanted, and we also had a big undertaking on the side. Jeff's parents were an invaluable help...they are our gardening gurus.
The neighborhood that we live in has a 'yard of the month.' There's not really strict rules to it...basically there are two ladies who walk a lot and can notice what's happening in yards, and they decide. Like all places not everyone is s into yards as some. There are several yards we quite like in here, but we are proud of ours. One things we're not liking right now is the heat has brought some bugs, which are eating the petunias that were overflowing in the pots too.
