Freak OUT!!!

Big news of the day....Jeff lost his wedding band. We got the rings back in July, and at the time he barely wanted to try them on. We had to wait until the wedding. Well, we had them on our hands then less that 10 seconds. So last week when he finally got to wear his, he noticed that it was a little loose, but being colder sometime looseness happens with rings. The thing is his hands wasn't that cold. When they did get cold it could very easily be slipped off. Monday I had to take my diamond in for the inspection (every six months-sooner is better), and we talked then about getting his resized. Although, with the type it is they can't resize the metal (titanium and white gold), they have to order a new one. He decided to wait a bit to see what it was like when his hands really got cold. Well, today he was raking leaves and stuffing them in bags. Neither noticed until we were watching Forrest Gump, and Lieutenant Dan got new legs (made from titanium alloy), that we laughed because his ring is made of similar stuff, and then notice (AHHH!) the ring wasn't there. We looked on the couch, in pockets, in the office, the bathroom, the kitchen, the sink (he did dishes tonight), and then the yard, and piles of leaves. We sifted through 4 packed trashbags full of leaves, we crawled on hands and knees all over the yard, we called people for metal detectors, and we prayed the whole time. Jeff then started dumping each of the bags of leaves on the garage floor. We were into the third bag when we heard the ping. Thank the Lord! Yes, we will be getting a new size tomorrow!
